As Mr. M. Inspired by this vision, he turned to his grandchildren, Shwetha Venkatalakshmi and Praveen Sampath. Each brought their own spark—Shwetha with her love for early education and child growth, and Praveen with his energy and global view. Together, across generations, they began building something extraordinary.

In the quiet town of Udumalpet, where tradition meets ambition, Mr. M. Soundararajan began crafting a legacy shaped by vision and purpose. Inspired by his grandfather, the eminent educationist V. Govindaswamy Naidu, he carried forward a passion not just for enterprise, but for empowering future generations. This gave rise to Totville, a pioneering preschool revolutionising early childhood education in the heart of small-town in India.
Yet, his odyssey extended far beyond scholastic corridors. A lifelong cricket enthusiast, he set out to transform Udumalpet into a growing center for the sport, nurturing young talent and bringing communities together. It stands as a testament to how visionary leadership leads to transformative education.
At the heart of our school is Shwetha Venkatalakshmi, whose gentle spirit and bold vision came together to create a space where children feel truly at home. This vision came to life with the steadfast support of her grandfather and brother, she co-founded the school that is built on the belief that early education should be as joyful as it is enriching.
Drawing from her academic background in finance, childcare, and English, she brings a thoughtful blend of expertise and empathy into the classroom.
Her time at application of learning in the real world gave her invaluable firsthand experience, shaping her understanding of what young minds need to thrive.
Compelled by a goal to cultivate not merely learners but compassionate, self-assured individuals, she advocates for a holistic, play-based, and child-centric pedagogy. In Shwetha’s enlightened vision, curiosity is celebrated, creativity is meticulously fostered, and every child is enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, reverence, and intentional care.

A natural leader and lifelong learner, Praveen blends his engineering roots with a Master’s in Sports Management to help shape Totville into more than just a preschool. It becomes a well organised, nurturing space where children are free to explore the world with wonder, courage, and delight. At Totville, Praveen is not just a co-founder, he’s the brain behind the harmony.
